hey all, I just switched to cingular from verizon! I did it on monday! i must say, i was happy with my experience of switching. The salesman that helped was great! He looked at the list of phones that supported talks. the only one he had was the nokia 9300! At first i was shocked by the size, but as you use the phone, you start to be amazed! So far, I'm happy with cingular's service. I had an issue with my minutes and not being able to check them. They explained that it takes a week for you to get in the system fully. That's cool. Overall, cingular is great and reception here in orlando is great. i'm just waiting to try it in palm bay, where reception on verizon sucked ass. So, if you guys have any stories about cingular, share them! I'd like to see you people's oppinions!

Those ass holes. I baught the 6682 from them and they told me when I called about talks upgrading that the only phone they were lisensed to sell talks with was the 6620. even tho I had the 6620 and was upgrading from that phone! this was strait from there disibility center too!
other than that, I have been happy with there service. Least I figured out how to get in the back way with using my laptop with my phone for internet access. If you call and ask them about doing this they will sign you up with a plan that runs about 80 bucks a month. If you do some looking on the net you can do the same thing on your own and sign up with a 20 dollar plann.
I'm happy with cingular. I don't have a phone with talx, but the phone I do have is fine, reception is good and the customer service people are helpful and courteous.
I love singular. I wouldn't switch even if you payed me. the only thing, I wish I had talks on my phone.

nextel: how business gets fucked over. lol I'd thought about moving to cingular, but i'm just not sure. Those 7:00 nights sound mighty tempting...
I have to agree; I've been with Nextel for years and love there service. I wish there phones were more accessible than they currently are, but I like the quality of the service I have too much to switch to a carrier that has a completely accessible phone, so I'll just stick with what I have.

i may, but t-mobile has a thing where you can call any of 5 different people on any network for free. It's so hard to choose...
well. i have had cingular for 2 months now. i love it. it's sooo good. nextell sucks, there way too expensive. verizon sucks. and don't get em started on virgin mobile.
actually verizon is ok. there have cool phones as well. I just don't like verizon. i love my cingular.
t-mobile rocks. Also you can use talks with it too.
I switched to Singular from Sprint about six and a half months ago, and I couldn't be more happier. The service is awesome. I get service in places I never got with Sprint. I got to keep my same number, which was awesome. I luv the fact that u can get rollover minutes. Those definitely help out a lot. However, I don't have a phone with TALKS. Too expensive! I recently had to get a replacement phone, because it had major problems. Although the people at the store couldn't figure it out, they told me what steps I should take. Singular's customer service is very helpfull. When I first got my phone, the lady showed me some of the features of it, such as how to access the phone book. Singular is awesome. I would recommend it to anybody. The nights starting at seven is so helpful!
i love singular because they have the roll-over minutes. and a lot of my friends have it as well which is a plus.
